Sports Fitness Camp Registration (Gillam)

Do you enjoy playing sports and want to get back into the routing from summer vacation?  Are you 9 years of age or older?  Do you enjoy swimming? Join us at the NRAC September 1st - 4th, 2015 from 3:45 - 4:30 for our sports fitness camp program.  Cost is $50 per child.  Each day there will be strength training exercises that will work our leg, abdominal and arm muscles.  After we are done our strength training exercises there will be free time for the children to play in the pool.

Young Guns Conditioning Camp (The Pas)

Dry-land & on ice training at The Pas Recreation & Wellness Centre, RJH Arena.  Open to the first 21 registered participants and 4 goalies for each age group.  

Novice: 4 dry-land, 4 on ice sessions
Atom/PeeWee: 4 dry-land, 6 on ice sessions
Bantam/Midget: 4 dry-land, 6 on ice sessions

Head Instructor: Jomar Cruz

TD Tree Days (The Pas)

Join us as we do our part to help plant 50,000 trees nationwide during TD Tree Days.  Locally, volunteers will plant 300 trees at the Kelsey Rec & Wellness Centre (523 Smith Street, The Pas) on Sunday, September 20.  The event will run from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.  Volunteers should bring a refillable water bottle and wear weather appropriate attire and closed toed shoes.  To register for TD Tree Days in The Pas, or to learn more, visit #TDTreeDays

Polar Bear Safety and Awareness Orientation Session (Churchill)

Parks Canada and Manitoba Conservation will be presenting Polar Bear Awareness Safety Orientation Sessions through the summer and fall.  This collaborative effort is to increase the level of polar bear awareness and safety in our community.  

The meetings will be held on Sundays from 7:00 - 9:00 pm at the Parks Canada Building.
