Thompson Recreation Zoo (Thompson)

The zoo features animals and birds with are indigenous to Manitoba's north. According the the zoo's website, today's zoo residents include "a wolf, a lynx, a bobcat, racoons, rabbits, ferrets, red foxes, deer, goats, pigs and ponies. Birds include a number of different owl species, peafowl, pheasants and a pair of breeding bald eagles." See the zoo website for additional information.
